What I am Doing Now

(This is a now page, and if you have your own site, you should make one, too.)

I live in Beersheva, Israel. I am volunteering with A New Dawn in the Negev, a Bedouin-Jewish NGO working to provide opportunities for Bedouin youth.

I have spent the last year in Israel, studying in yeshiva. I usually live in London, UK, and will return there 3rd September, 2017.

Right now I am focussing on:

  • Consolidating what I learned from the last year studying in yeshiva in Israel and what that means for my Jewish identity.
  • Working with New Dawn to assess their strengths and weaknesses as an organisation and how I can assist them over my summer fellowship.
  • Preparing to come home and all the projects that I left behind/postponed while I was away. This involves a lot of email-sending and document-writing.

I anticipate this being a very introspective year and I doubt I will have much time for anything significant. I can usually fit in low commitment media or speaker requests, though please note my location and the fact that I do not work on shabbat.

If my activities or priorities change, I’ll update this page. Last update was 4th July, 2017.
