What I am Doing Now

(This is a now page, and if you have your own site, you should make one, too.)

I live in London, UK. I work as a locum mental health occupational therapist across multiple NHS services.

After a year in which I disrupted everything in my life and moved to Israel, I am looking forward to a bit of stability and remaining in London for the next few years. My two priorities for the next couple of years are:

The Autistic Empire, launched 2018, an autistic social organization that seeks to promote and spread the idea of autism as a form of peoplehood who exist as a civic minority and not as a disorder to be cured or fixed.

Webmaster for Dances of Universal Peace UK. This is a Sufi practice that was developed in the 1970s by the first American Sufi teacher, Murshid Samuel L. Lewis, and using mantras from the world’s spiritual traditions and simple dance steps to invoke feelings of connectedness and community. I completed leader training in October 2018 and am now trying to support other dance leaders with tools and resources to build their circles.

I’m also webmaster for New Stoke Newington Synagogue, a small and friendly Masorti synagogue based in North London.

I am thoroughly occupied at the moment and if you want me to do anything else, this may take a while.

If my activities or priorities change, I’ll update this page. Last update was 29th November, 2018.
